ഡിഗ്രി വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനിയായിരുന്ന ഫാത്തിമ സോഫിയ (17) 2013 ജൂലൈ 23 നാണ് പാലക്കാട്   വാളയാർ  ചന്ദ്രഗിരിയിലുള്ള സ്റ്റെൻസിലാസ് പള്ളി  ബംഗ്ലാവിൽവച്ച് കൊലപ്പെട്ടത്. സോഫിയായുടെ കുടുംബവുമായി പരിചയമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഫാദർ  ആരോഗ്യരാജ് എന്ന വൈദികൻ  വീട്ടിൽ  ആരുമില്ലായിരുന്നനേരത്ത് പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ചന്ദ്രഗിരിയിലുള്ള പള്ളി ബംഗ്ലാവിലേക്ക് കൂട്ടി കൊണ്ടുപോവുകയും അവിടെ വച്ച് ലൈംഗികമായി പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ  ശ്രമിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു.  ഇതു ചെറുത്ത പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ആരോഗ്യരാജ് കഴുത്ത് ഞെരിച്ച് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തി എന്നാണ് കേസ്. 
കോയമ്പത്തൂർ  സ്വദേശി ഫാത്തിമ സോഫിയ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട കേസിൽ  നാലു വൈദികർ  പൊലീസിൽ  കീഴടങ്ങി. കൊലപാതക വിവരം മറച്ചുവച്ചു പ്രതിയെ രക്ഷപെടാൻ  സഹായിച്ചതാണ് ഇവർക്കെതിരെയുള്ള കുറ്റം.

തൃശൂർ: വിട്ടമ്മയുമായി ഒളിച്ചോടുകയും മുബൈയിൽ ഒന്നിച്ച് ജീവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ഫാ. സോണി ആന്റണിയേ തള്ളികളയാതെ സി.എം.ഐ സഭ. സംഭവം രഹസ്യമായി വയ്ച്ച് വൈദീകനേകൊണ്ട് കുർബാനയും മറ്റും ചെല്ലാൻ അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്ന സഭാ അധികാരികൾ  വാർത്ത പുറത്തായതോടെ  മലക്കം മറിച്ചിൽ. ഫാ.സോണിയുടെ അനാശാസ്യവും വൈദീകവൃത്തിയുടെ ലംഘനവും ഒന്നും സഭക്ക് വിഷയം അല്ലായിരുന്നു. മാത്രമല്ല ലൈംഗീക ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് മാസങ്ങളോളം പോയ വൈദീകനേ വീണ്ടും തള്ളികളയാതെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ്‌ സഭാ നേതൃത്വം.

ഇപ്പോൾ 6 മാസം വൈദീകനേ തിരുകർമ്മങ്ങൾ നടത്തുന്നതിനു വിലക്കി. മനസു മാറാനും നവീകരണത്തിനുമായി അട്ടപ്പാടി സെഹിയോൺ ധ്യാന കേന്ദ്രത്തിലേക്ക് അയച്ചു. അവിടെ വട്ടായിൽ അച്ചന്റെ ശിക്ഷണത്തിൽ നല്ല നടപ്പിനായി നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌ ഇപ്പോൾ ഫാ.സോണി ആന്റണിയേ..വൈദീകൻ ജീവിതം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്ത് കുടുംബം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് ഇറങ്ങിപോന്ന യുവതിയാണിപ്പോൾ വഴിയാധാരം ആയത്. യുവതിക്ക് ഭർത്താവിനേയും നഷ്ടപെട്ടു..2മക്കൾ ഉള്ള കുടുംബവും തകർന്നു. യുവതിക്കും ഭർത്താവിനും വീട്ടുകാർക്കും ഇടയിൽ വീണ്ടും കൂടിചേരാനും വിഷയങ്ങൾ ഒത്തു തീർക്കാനും സഭയിലേ ഉന്നതർ ഇടപെട്ട് വൻ നീക്കമാണ്‌ നടക്കുന്നത്. ഇപ്പോൾ പുറത്തു വന്നിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ വാർത്തകളും നിഷേധിച്ചാൽ വിവാദം കെട്ടടങ്ങുമെന്നും പിന്നീട് ഒന്നിച്ച് കുടുംബ ജീവിതം നന്നായി തുടരാമെന്നുമാണ്‌ ഭർത്താവിനു ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഉപദേശം. ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഒരു സഭവം ഇല്ലെന്ന് ഭർത്താവ്‌ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നതോടെ വൈദീകനേയും, യുവതിയേയും രക്ഷപെടുത്താമെന്നും കുടുംബം വീണ്ടും ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കാമെന്നും സി.എം.ഐ സഭാ നേതൃത്വം ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു. പോലീസിൽ ഭർത്താവ്‌ നല്കിയ യുവതിക്കെതിരായ കാണാനില്ലെന്ന പരാതി പിൻ വലിക്കുകയും വേണമത്രേ.

സഭാ തര്‍ക്കം രൂക്ഷമായി നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്ന സമയത്താണ് മലങ്കര വര്‍ഗീസിന്റെ കാര്‍ തട്ടി ബിനു എന്ന ചെറുപ്പക്കാരൻ  മരിച്ചത്.  എന്നാല്‍ ബിനുവിനെ മനപൂര്‍വ്വം കൊലപ്പെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് യാക്കോബായ വിഭാഗം ആരോപിക്കുകയും  തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഫാ വര്‍ഗീസ് തെക്കേക്കരയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍  ക്വോട്ടേഷൻ നൽകി വർഗീസിനെ കൊല്ലുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്സ് വൈദികന്റെ ലൈംഗിക പീഡനവും ബ്ലാക്ക് മെയിലിംഗും കാരണം കോട്ടയത്ത് കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്റെ ഭാര്യ തീ കൊളുത്തി ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു. കൂരോപ്പട സെന്റ് ജോണ്‍സ് ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്സ് പള്ളി വികാരിയായ കോട്ടയം കുറിച്ചി ആര്യാട്ട് റവ. ഫാദര്‍ വര്‍ഗീസ് മാര്‍ക്കോസിന്റെ പീഡനം മൂലമാണ് യുവതി ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തത്. നാല് ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം രൂപയും യുവതിയില്‍ നിന്നും മാര്‍ക്കോസ് കൈക്കലാക്കി.യുവതി ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തതിനു പിന്നാലെ കുടുംബം കോട്ടയം കാതോലിക്കാ ബാവക്ക് തെളിവുകള്‍ സഹിതം പരാതി നല്‍കിയെങ്കിലും മാര്‍ക്കോസിനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനും തന്നെ കുടുക്കാനുമാണ് സഭ ശ്രമിച്ചതെന്ന് യുവതിയുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് നാരദാ ന്യൂസിനോട് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. 
കുഴിമറ്റം സെന്റ് ജോണ്‍സ് പള്ളി വികാരിയായിരിക്കെയാണ് രണ്ടു കുട്ടികളുടെ അമ്മ കൂടിയായ യുവതിയുമായി ഫാദര്‍ മാര്‍ക്കോസ് ബന്ധം സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. മൂന്നു വര്‍ഷം മുന്‍പ് പ്രത്യേക പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനക്കെന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് യുവതിയെ മാര്‍ക്കോസ് വീട്ടിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി ലൈംഗികമായി പീഡിപ്പിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഇക്കാര്യം പുറത്തുപറയുമെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് യുവതിയെ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി ലൈംഗിക ചൂഷണത്തിന് വിധേയമാക്കുകയും കാര്‍ വാങ്ങാനടക്കം യുവതിയില്‍ നിന്നും പലപ്പോഴായി നാലു ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം രൂപ തട്ടിയെടുക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു.

🔸 ഇദ്ദേഹം സത്യദീപം മാസികയിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച കേരളത്തിലെ കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളെ കുറിച്ച് നടത്തിയ പഠനത്തിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ചില സത്യങ്ങൾ: 
➡️ 25% സന്ന്യാസിനികളും സന്തുഷ്ടരല്ല  
➡️ കഴിഞ്ഞ 9  വർഷത്തിടെ 14 കന്യാസ്ത്രീകൾ ആത്മഹത്യ (ദുരൂഹ മരണം?) ചെയ്തു.
➡️ സന്ന്യാസം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളുടെ എണ്ണം ഗണ്യമായി  കൂടി. 
➡️ സന്ന്യാസം സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന പെൺകുട്ടികളുടെ എണ്ണം  40% മായി കുറഞ്ഞു.

⏩ 20 വയസുള്ള പെൺകുട്ടി ധ്യാനകേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ആയിരുന്ന കാലത്ത് [കാലയളവ് - 2003-2005 ] വൈദീകൻ പലവട്ടം ലൈംഗീകമായി പീഡിപ്പിച്ചെന്നും, കന്ന്യാസ്ത്രീകൾ അതിന് ഒത്താശ ചെയ്‌തെന്നും പരാതി. ധ്യാന കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ  നിന്നും പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ഒരു വ്യാജ കളവു കേസിൽ പ്രതിയാക്കി കോഴിക്കോട് ജയിലിൽ അടച്ചു. ഗർഭിണിയായിരുന്ന അവൾ ജയിലിൽ വച്ച്   31/08/2005ൽ    ഒരു കുഞ്ഞിന് ജന്മം നൽകി.
ഒരു വർഷത്തിലധികം ധ്യാനകേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ജീവിച്ച പെൺകുട്ടി അവിടെയുള്ള ജോലിക്കാരെയും, അവിടത്തെ  മുറികളെ കുറിച്ചും ഓരോ മുറികളുലും ഏതെല്ലാം ഓഫീസുകൾ എന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചും നൽകിയ വിവരണത്തിൽ നിന്നും, പെൺകുട്ടി അവിടെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു എന്ന കാര്യം പോലീസ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.
എന്നിട്ടും  വൈദീകനും,  കന്യാസ്ത്രീകളും, ജോലിക്കാരുമടക്കം എല്ലാവരും ഒരേ സ്വരത്തിൽ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ അറിയില്ലെന്ന്  മൊഴി നൽകി.

 The Local Police, while arresting her  in connection with a theft case had seized a  mobile phone from her.  The police produced  that mobile phone in the J.F.M.C., Koyilandy.   That mobile phone was forwarded to the J.F.M.  Chalakuddy for investigation as the concerned  priest was said to have made several calls to  the lady in that mobile phone.  Later, I  happened to see some press reports (I am  enclosed the 3rd page of the N.I.E. dt. 13.10.05  which carried a report, \021DNA Test? Oh No\022) to  the effect that the police is not properly  investigating the case and instead, are more  interested in tracing her antecedents and  alleged bad character.  They did not reportedly  collect the details of calls to the mobile phone  seized from the lady, which would have given  some clue regarding the alleged connection.   Nor did they attempt a DNA test.  The lady had  complained to me that she is afraid to come  out of the jail on bail as she is under threat.  I  do not know what is the present stage of the  investigation.\024

(a) in the past two years number of  unidentified dead bodies were found on the National Highway  and the railway track situated near to the Retreat Centre; (b)  there is a practice of burying the dead bodies in the public  burial ground without following any procedure; (c) recently the  dead body of a lady aged about 30 years was entrusted with  one Karyavelu  for burying the dead body in the burial ground.  When the dead body was taken for burial, Karyavelu noticed  number of injuries on that dead body.  He is alleged to have  informed the Priest of the Divine Centre that henceforth he will  not undertake any burial of such bodies. It is alleged that  Karyavelu himself died in the suspicious circumstances and a  case was registered under the caption \023unnatural death\024; (d)  there is a gang in the retreat centre and one  Sr. Teresa and  two helpers were helping the gang to carry on anti-social  activities.  It is alleged that the leader of the gang is Rev.  Father Mathew Thadathil.
